Fellowes AutoMax shredders offer a truly walk-away shredding experience, automatically shredding stacks of paper at the touch of a button. With the Fellowes AutoMax 550C there is no need to feed paper into the shredder manually, however there is a manual option which allows you to shred up to 14 sheets per pass. The 550C can shred continously and will shred the 550 sheet capacity in approximately 13 minutes. The cross cut capabilities securely shreds paper into 4 x 38 mm pieces (Security Level DIN P-4), and not only cuts paper but it will also handle staples, paperclips, credit cards and CDs.
To prevent access to documents whilst shredding is in progress, the Fellowes Smart Lock system allows the user to lock the shredder with a 4-digit PIN. The 550C also has a generous 83-litre pull-out waste bin. Built to last this shredder as a 2 year machine warranty and 20-year cutter warranty.
