General sales conditions

Our catalogues and offers on the Internet are aimed exclusively at professionals - companies, administrations, associations, artisans, traders and freelancers - operating within the framework of their commercial, industrial, craft or self-employed activities, located in Italy.

Order Transmission

Orders can be placed by

  • by telephone, by calling 02 822 85 555;
  • online, by registering at bruneau.com
  • e-mail, by writing to clienti@bruneau.it;
  • fax, by sending the order form to 02 82285 222;
  • mail, by sending the order form to Bruneau Italia s.r.l, Centro Direzionale Milanofiori, Strada 1 Palazzo E 3/4, 20057 - Assago (MI).

Delivery

Delivery is free for orders from €89.00 excluding VAT. For orders under €49 excluding VAT the delivery charge is €9.90 excluding VAT. For orders between €49 and €88.99 excluding VAT, the delivery charge is €6.90 excluding VAT. Orders received after 5pm are processed the next day and therefore 24 hours must be added to the delivery time specified above. Orders received on Fridays after 5 p.m., on Saturdays and Sundays are processed on the following Monday, from which time the above-described deadlines apply.

  • CENTRAL NORTH: Delivery within 24 hours except in less favoured areas.
  • SOUTH AND ISLANDS: Delivery within 48 hours.
  • MINOR ISLANDS AND DISTRICT ZONES: Delivery within 48 hours is not guaranteed. Please contact our Customer Service for updates on schedules.
  • Shipments > 100 kg, bulky, delicate: standard delivery times are not guaranteed and will be delivered in 3-5 working days.
  • For special delivery services (by appointment, on the floor, ZTL/historical centre area, with hydraulic tailgate, Venice-water area, porterage, etc.): contact our Customer Service to assess feasibility and costs.

Non-standard deliveries

  • Customised stamps: can be ordered on bruneau.it with delivery within 48 hours of order confirmation.
  • Customised tapes and products: check terms and conditions with Customer Service.

Delivery of furniture and metal furniture

  • Delivery times are indicated next to the product.
  • Delivery is on the street level.
  • For special deliveries (by appointment, at street level, ZTL zone/historical centre, with hydraulic tailgate, etc.) please contact our Customer Service to assess feasibility and costs.

Furniture assembly

For the assembly service, always check with Customer Service the areas covered and request an assembly estimate. The assembly service may be provided at the same time as delivery or in a deferred phase; the personnel carrying out the assembly must have the correct, complete and intact material at their disposal, and it is therefore an essential and unavoidable condition that the Customer checks the products for which assembly has been agreed. Payments

Payments can be made through:

  • RI.BA. 30 days from date of invoice;
  • Bank transfer within 30 days of invoice date
  • Credit card Visa, Mastercard, Nexi, with charge of the amount to the customer at the time the order is sent;
  • Paypal;

All orders and payments are subject to unquestionable acceptance by the Management, which reserves the right to request payment by cash on delivery or credit card or bank transfer in advance.
In the event of delayed payment, a contribution of €20 will be charged for recovery expenses in addition to default interest as per Italian Legislative Decree 231/2002.

All invoices issued from 1/06/2022 will be available on the site in the reserved area/my invoices.

Global coverage

Each purchased item is insured against transport risks, including the costs of handling any returns. To this end, the Customer shall be charged on the invoice a fee of

  • €3.39 for orders under €199.00 excluding VAT;
  • 1% of the order value for orders of €199.00 or more excluding VAT.

Warranty

A 2-year warranty against defects in material or workmanship applies to all our products. The warranty is free of charge and runs from the date of issue of our invoice. Products under warranty will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Products that have been subjected to neglect, misuse, tampering or repair by unauthorised personnel are not covered by the guarantee. In any case, all cosmetic parts, parts subject to wear and tear, and all parts for which proper use cannot be verified are expressly excluded from the warranty.
For the duration of the warranty and service of all household appliances or electronic equipment such as printers, shredders, fax machines, multifunctional devices, multimedia projectors, monitors, hard disks, digital cameras, mice, etc., of whatever brand, the manufacturer's warranty enclosed with the product shall apply.

Inspection and delivery of goods

Delivery of the goods shall take place at the place indicated by the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Parties. Delivery shall be deemed to be completed when the goods are made available to the customer at the place of delivery and in any case no later than 8 days from the date of issuance of the electronic invoice by Bruneau Italia s.r.l., which will be sent to the customer's tax drawer. The date of issuance of the electronic invoice shall constitute the initial term for counting the 8-day period. The Customer is obliged to check at the time of delivery and in the presence of the carrier, the integrity and number of packages. In the case of missing or damaged packages, the Customer may still collect the material by signing the shipping document (or PDA or PDA) with reservation, specifying the problems encountered. In the case of collecting goods without signing with reservation Bruneau Italia s.r.l. cannot be held responsible for any problems. Returns

Requests for returns and/or replacements must be notified in advance and authorised by our Customer Service Department by calling 02 822 85 555 or writing to clienti@bruneau.it within 45 days of the invoice date. Bruneau Italia s.r.l. shall be responsible for collecting the product from the customer, while the customer shall only be responsible for returning the product in its original packaging, undamaged and complete in all its parts, including any instruction manual and all accompanying accessories. The return must be accompanied by a delivery note and/or invoice, return note with destination: Via Liguria, 1- 27010 - Siziano - PV. The credit note will be issued when the goods are returned to the warehouse as soon as the above conditions are met, otherwise the return will not be accepted and all transport costs incurred may be charged. In the event of a total return of goods, any gifts received in the order must be returned. Any requests for reimbursement cannot be accepted after 18 months from the date of the credit note.

Returns cannot be accepted for

  • metal furniture (metal cabinets, dressing room cabinets, metal filing cabinets) except for material and functional defects (only defective parts will be replaced).
  • furniture and accessories, chairs, blackboards, cabinets in stock, if assembled or with non-original, non-intact/complete packaging, excluding defects in material and function (only defective parts will be replaced);
  • technology, audio & video products, sealed software that have been opened, household appliances that have been used;
  • food and perishable products;
  • out-of-sort products, stamps, customised items and what has been ordered exclusively for the Customer (no order cancellations will be accepted for such products)
  • items of clothing or PPE that have been used or are not in unopened packaging.

Prices and Offers

All our prices are in Euro, excluding VAT. WEEE, SIAE, CONAI and all statutory contributions are included/allowed. The VAT rate applied will be the one in force at the time the order is dispatched. In the event of a printing error, we will inform the customer at the time of order processing and process the order based on the correct information. Bruneau Italia s.r.l. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the general terms and conditions of sale in the event of significant changes in economic conditions by our suppliers and/or changes due to the evolution of the economic situation. Please consult bruneau.co.uk for updates. On some furniture lines, the cost of assembly is indicated when ordering on bruneau.co.uk. Our offers are not valid for wholesalers or retailers and are presented directly through our catalogues. All orders are subject to acceptance by Management and Bruneau Italia s.r.l. reserves the right to request payment by cash on delivery or credit card or bank transfer in advance. We strive to guarantee an adequate stock level to ensure the availability of the products on sale and free gifts at all times. However, in cases of extreme necessity we may be forced to replace the products offered with others that are equivalent or superior in terms of function and/or value, giving prior notice to our Customers. Discount coupons and free gifts on the cover of promotional catalogues and on the bruneau.it website cannot be included in the same order, cannot be combined with other initiatives and can only be used once per customer. VAT, charges and contributions are not included.

We inform the customer that Bruneau Italia s.r.l., has adopted a policy of developing its activities, product lines and business in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In particular, we inform the Customer of the obligation of Bruneau Italia s.r.l, its officers, employees, collaborators, agents, and partners not to offer, procure, give, pay, promise or authorise monetary compensation or gifts of value to a government official, candidate, political party or its representative, whether foreign, domestic, or local, for the purpose of (a) influencing or instigating the recipient's actions or decisions in connection with his or her official duties or in violation of a legal requirement, (b) influencing a third party or government agency to help the company obtain, maintain or extend business in a country. Jurisdiction

Whoever uses the products and services from Bruneau Italia s.r.l., accepts that the Court of Milan has jurisdiction for any dispute.
